Adore Touch floor, is designed with Nano-Silver and Micro Ceramic protective properties, it is tough and resilient enough for today’s busy lifestyles and homes and has a twenty five year warranty.
Adore Touch uses a Uniclic unique profile along the edges to provide a secure and snug fit, yet with enough strength to ensure that it withstands the rigors of daily life. The short edge is clicked into place and the long edge is clicked into positioned at an angle and pushed into place.
Nano-Silver was developed as a way of utilizing smaller doses of silver and making it a more efficient antibacterial medication to fight infection. However, due to the increase in nanotechnology and the proliferation of delivery tools, it is now available in flooring as an inherent sterilization tool. Long used for sheet vinyl in hospitals, we are the first manufacturer to use Nano-Silver in tiles so that more people can benefit from its unique properties. The particles of silver are so small that 500 million lines of pieces would hardly cover the diameter of a strand of human hair, but it is the size and exponentially increased surface area that makes it so effective at killing bacteria, viruses and certain molds. It is non-consumable, meaning it does not lose effectivity after killing, and is also safe for use around humans and animals. By denaturing bonds within microorganisms or by creating reactive oxygen around itself, it behaves much like hydrogen peroxide or bleach, while avoiding the toxicity of these chemicals.
The MicroCeramic ® wear layer is unique amongst hardened wear surfaces. Most manufacturers use aluminium oxide to strengthen their products, but the coating by which they supply this component is not permanent and is often stripped after installation due to construction damage. Our products infuse this ceramic element into the wear layer itself so it can never be removed. Tests have also demonstrated that the wear layer performs better than aluminium oxide and does not have the gritty feel associated with aluminium oxide coatings, while providing the damage protection expected of such a feature.
MicroCeramic ® will also prolong the life of the product leading to a longer warranty than competing 20 mil products. This only enhances the life cycle cost of adore, making it even more attractive when comparing it to cheaper products, such as composition tiles, which incurs tremendous annual maintenance costs.
